The Role
You will be responsible for fulfilling local delivery routes efficiently while maintaining the highest standard of customer care. This isn't just about dropping off boxes; it involves carefully managing reusable containers, handling bulk liquids, and ensuring our customers have a seamless zero-waste experience.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, load, and safely transport bulk refill containers and customer orders from our Faversham hub.
Execute daily delivery routes around Faversham and surrounding villages efficiently.
Collect empty containers from customers for washing and reuse, ensuring accurate tracking.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any inventory or routing issues.
Provide warm, knowledgeable customer service on the doorstep, answering basic questions about our products and the refill process.
Ensure the delivery vehicle (van or e-cargo bike) is kept clean and maintained.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Driving: Full, clean UK Driving Licence with experience driving a delivery van (or confidence riding an e-cargo bike).
Local Knowledge: Excellent geographical knowledge of Faversham and the surrounding local road networks to optimise routing.
Physical Fitness: The role involves manual handling, including lifting and carrying heavy bulk liquids (up to 20kg) and maneuvering delivery crates safely.
Logistics & Organisation: Strong time-management skills and the ability to follow or optimize delivery schedules independently.
Values: A genuine passion for sustainability, environmental conservation, and reducing plastic waste.
Customer Service: Highly approachable with excellent communication skills.
