Bee-Friendly Pesticide

I like to use this recipe on my roses (and other plants) when an aphid infestation takes over. Unlike harsh chemical pesticides, it will not harm other insects such as bees and ladybirds. Important - only spray in the evenings to prevent sun damage to your plants.

1. Measure 300ml water

2. Mix in 1 tsp eco washing up liquid. We sell three types on our online store:

   • Unscented ​

   • Spiced ginger

   • Rhubarb and lemon

3. Pour into a spray bottle 

4. In the evening, spray onto the affected areas.

5. Enjoy your pest free plants!

You can also add clove bud oil to your solution to deter pests further, however, we find it effective enough with just the unscented washing up liquid and water.
